Be Still

Have you ever lived through one of those difficult seasons that felt as though it would never come to an end? 


Maybe you're currently in that headspace---exhausted, overwhelmed, maybe even a little bit cranky because you feel as though no one truly understands what you're experiencing. 


Everyone faces different sets of challenges & while it's true that not everyone will totally "get it", I can promise you that whatever you're going through.


Jesus knows ALL about it. 


Families keep a lot of us busier than ever--but sometimes it's best to step away, to find somewhere quiet & to surrender every ounce of your situation into the palm of His hand. 


While doing so won't always guarantee a change in the outcome of a situation, it WILL always result in changing your outlook as you continue walking with Him in the midst of it. 🩷


"Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth." (Psalm 46:10)

The Price of Sin Will Never Be Worth It

There doesn't seem to be anything in this world that isn't crazy expensive.  The shortages that have come upon us through the past three years have just begun to escalate; it is becoming harder to have our basic needs met. The quality of everything that we've known and loved just isn't the same anymore.  And what you're being sold is never worth the hefty price you pay. This thought has hung around in my head for some time. I read and observe a lot. I can't help but take notice of this gradual acceptance of evil. Society is being continuously groomed to make light of something that is no joke.  Hollywood paints the picture of Hell as a place that is one big party where everyone will be able to freely continue their life of sin. The presence of evil here on Earth is welcomed, encouraged, and accepted. A Time To Reset (New Years 2026)

I have kept this thought on my heart for a while now (honestly even before Christmas celebrations ever began) & I have pondered over where to even start with it but I do sometimes make writing for the Lord too technical. The best of what He has given me has only ever come from the heart. ❤️ Have you ever dealt with a laptop that just won't cooperate?  I cannot begin to tell you how many seasons of laptops that I have lived through in the four years of college and 10+ years of writing. They all eventually meet the exact same fate:  Pages won't load as efficiently. The battery won't keep its charge. The smallest task becomes its greatest challenge.  However, the most agonizing death for a computer is to have a virus absolutely consume the entire operating system, effectively rendering the device completely unusable.  At that point it becomes necessary to attempt a factory reset.
