The joy and peace and rest and love God sends down from above

Materialistic pleasure doesn't compare to the peace and joy that trusting in Christ for salvation provides; our "stuff" is only temporary, His saving grace is eternal.
"Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:"
"But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:"
"For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also."

Please don't cling to the temporary treasures of this Earth. Your soul is more precious to Him than gold. If you've never accepted Christ as your personal Savior, please don't wait until it's too late. An eternity in Hell is too serious of a reality to ignore.
"For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 6:23 KJV)
The precious gift of salvation is freely offered to all and is truly better than gold.
"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." (Romans 10:13 KJV)
Having a personal relationship with Him is something better than gold.
