A Time To Restart

The month of February has absolutely flown by; while the blog has remained largely quiet throughout the last three weeks (aside from an "oldie but goodie" share), the Lord has kept my thoughts continually flowing and I couldn't go without revisiting and finishing out my two-part New Years themed mini series.  While the first installment dealt with the hearts of unbelievers, the second installment naturally follows up with a message that aims to reach the hearts of believers that are struggling with consistency in their walk with the Lord. I know that journey all too well. I've been there. Done that.  Are you feeling as though your best made resolutions somehow fell apart before you even had a chance to begin? The circumstances of life sometimes completely overwhelm the soul and it's SO easy to drift away from the Lord without realizing it if we aren't carefully and consciously involving Him in every part of our daily lives.  Many find themselves in the midst o...

A Time To Reset (New Years 2026)

I have kept this thought on my heart for a while now (honestly even before Christmas celebrations ever began) & I have pondered over where to even start with it but I do sometimes make writing for the Lord too technical. The best of what He has given me has only ever come from the heart. ❤️ Have you ever dealt with a laptop that just won't cooperate?  I cannot begin to tell you how many seasons of laptops that I have lived through in the four years of college and 10+ years of writing. They all eventually meet the exact same fate:  Pages won't load as efficiently. The battery won't keep its charge. The smallest task becomes its greatest challenge.  However, the most agonizing death for a computer is to have a virus absolutely consume the entire operating system, effectively rendering the device completely unusable.  At that point it becomes necessary to attempt a factory reset. It essentially wipes your operating system completely clean & provides it with a mu...

The Building Of Your Life

I wrote and published a New Years themed message earlier in the month that never felt as though it was finishable; following the Lord's continual tug on my heart to remove "What's Weighing You Down?" from Molly's Zone, He placed such a special thothought on my heart that I knew couldn't be left unwritten.  The simple thought of buildings and the process of creating them exists as the foundational aspect of today's message....the mentioning of the word foundation especially carries significance because the structure will not stand without a solid foundation and you can't even begin to build it without following a blueprint.  Have you ever attempted to put something together without following instructions only to be met with confusion, frustration, and eventual disaster?  I began thinking about the DIY attitude that we all carry more than we'd care to admit (my own guilty heart is included on SO many levels)  It's too easy to find ourselves wanti...
