A Time To Restart

The month of February has absolutely flown by; while the blog has remained largely quiet throughout the last three weeks (aside from an "oldie but goodie" share), the Lord has kept my thoughts continually flowing and I couldn't go without revisiting and finishing out my two-part New Years themed mini series.

While the first installment dealt with the hearts of unbelievers, the second installment naturally follows up with a message that aims to reach the hearts of believers that are struggling with consistency in their walk with the Lord. I know that journey all too well. I've been there. Done that.

Are you feeling as though your best made resolutions somehow fell apart before you even had a chance to begin?

The circumstances of life sometimes completely overwhelm the soul and it's SO easy to drift away from the Lord without realizing it if we aren't carefully and consciously involving Him in every part of our daily lives.

Many find themselves in the midst of seasons that are truly difficult, leaving their hearts incredibly defeated and discouraged. They feel as though the Lord doesn't want to help them. I asked Jesus to pour out my heart into every word that was written & I hope what He has given me will help fellow believers who need some encouragement.

Maybe you're not living as close to the Lord as you once were.

We are all currently traveling through perilous times. I know so many who are struggling right now.

Never let your circumstances push you away from Jesus.
Allow them to pull you towards Him.
Now is the time to restart your journey with Him.

"It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness." (Lamentations 3:22-23 KJV)
