Pause And Pray

The Lord placed these particular verses on my heart several days ago & I couldn't go without sharing an accompanying thought with you today 🩷

The world we are currently living in is sadly not the same as it once was. The arrival of COVID truly set the stage for an unsettling shift in the hearts of many.

I have never witnessed another time where people are so easily and intensely angered by the smallest inconvenience. Everywhere you go, someone is struggling to make it through the day without losing their cool.

Can we just talk about the crazy drivers that are currently on the road?

The term "pause and pray" recently came onto my heart & I loved it so much that I just had to include it in my message today. Although circumstances are difficult for many right now, it is my greatest hope that these words would be the reminder that someone needs to simply pause and pray.

As believers, we are called to reflect Christ in every aspect of our lives---the thoughts we have, the words we speak, and every action we take are all meant to bring honor and glory to Him.

It will always be the better choice to respond with your faith than to react with your flesh.

"He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty; and he that ruleth his spirit than he that taketh a city.” (Proverbs 16:32 KJV)

"Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath: For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God." (James 1:19-20 KJV)
