The One Who Stepped In

I knew that nothing would ever be the same,  On that day the Lord stepped in. A broken heart was fully made whole, Sins cleansed from somewhere deep within. I knew that nothing would ever be the same, On that day the Lord stepped in.  Twenty two years of sweet salvation have absolutely flown by but will forever hold onto a heart of praise for the incredible journey that God so graciously blessed me with 🩷 I have spent countless hours reminiscing and reflecting upon the goodness of God that is deeply and wonderfully woven into the story of someone who has overcome numerous challenges simply by trusting in the power of His might.  As I began writing this particular piece, I knew that I was becoming too technical with it. That has forever existed as one of my greatest roadblocks in serving Him through my little blog. I am the best at walking ahead of Jesus instead of alongside Him. (How often are we guilty of wanting to follow our own will instead of His?)  I will fore...

Pause And Pray

The Lord placed these particular verses on my heart several days ago & I couldn't go without sharing an accompanying thought with you today 🩷 The world we are currently living in is sadly not the same as it once was. The arrival of COVID truly set the stage for an unsettling shift in the hearts of many.  I have never witnessed another time where people are so easily and intensely angered by the smallest inconvenience. Everywhere you go, someone is struggling to make it through the day without losing their cool.  Can we just talk about the crazy drivers that are currently on the road?  The term "pause and pray" recently came onto my heart & I loved it so much that I just had to include it in my message today. Although circumstances are difficult for many right now, it is my greatest hope that these words would be the reminder that someone needs to simply pause and pray.  As believers, we are called to reflect Christ in every aspect of our lives---the thought...

Be Still

Have you ever lived through one of those difficult seasons that felt as though it would never come to an end?  Maybe you're currently in that headspace---exhausted, overwhelmed, maybe even a little bit cranky because you feel as though no one truly understands what you're experiencing.  Everyone faces different sets of challenges & while it's true that not everyone will totally "get it", I can promise you that whatever you're going through. Jesus knows ALL about it.  Families keep a lot of us busier than ever--but sometimes it's best to step away, to find somewhere quiet & to surrender every ounce of your situation into the palm of His hand.  While doing so won't always guarantee a change in the outcome of a situation, it WILL always result in changing your outlook as you continue walking with Him in the midst of it. 🩷 "Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth." (Psalm 46:1...

The Wake Up Call

The level of sheer excitement that continually fills my heart as I'm actively preparing this blog entry will never be fully explainable. I am SUPER thrilled about returning to Molly's Zone as I have absolutely loved serving the Lord with my little blog throughout the past decade & I am SO thankful that He still chooses to provide me with this precious opportunity. You may have noticed that the month of April on Molly's Zone primarily consisted of written messages that were pulled out from deep within the archives. That was never in the plans but life has its interruptions and that's perfectly okay because I have always believed that every circumstance---even those that are unexpected--each hold a specific purpose within our lives.  It was a deliberate decision to step away from writing for awhile because I was not feeling well at all. I had been experiencing debilitating fatigue for some time but began experiencing headaches and brain fog that made it nearly impossi...

The Ultimate Resolution (Revised Reissue 2026)

You will never be comfortable with change until you become uncomfortable in your mess.  It's not unusual for most to find themselves laser-focused on personal goals or resolutions for the new year. I have felt the nudge to write a few words on the subject of change and how uncomfortable it can make you feel. Especially in the beginning. It will never not be worth it though.  I couldn't help but think of anyone and everyone who may be trying to function without a purpose or a plan. Those whose lives are stuck in a perpetual state of emptiness.  Do you know someone who fits this description? Entertaining the idea of change can honestly be unsettling. Even to the strongest individual.  But, you'll always need Jesus. And if you've never met Him personally, you've not yet known the difference He can make. So many refuse to accept Him due to the shame they carry concerning their sin. It's never the easiest thing to admit the need for His help, either.  Maybe you...

Now Is The Time (Part 2) (2026 Revised Reissue)

You may remember that I published a piece on the blog on Tuesday morning that was entitled, "Now Is The Time" and I shared it as the first installment of a two-part mini series. My heart is wanting to finish out the rest of my thought; the first part dealt with our time on Earth having a limit, and it will forever be true that tomorrow is never promised... Have you ever heard about someone reaching old age and "living on borrowed time?"  I'm sorry to tell you that this particular expression is not only exclusive to some, but it is rather true for ALL of us.  Webster's Dictionary describes the word "borrow" as to take and use (something that belongs to someone else) with the intention of returning it.  I thought about that while piecing this together in my mind and I couldn't help but want to write this out: What are you doing with the time that God has given you? Are you making every second count for His glory?  Or have you been living for the...

Now Is The Time (Part 1) Revised Issue 2026

Have you ever thought about what a precious gift salvation truly is?  The Easter celebrations may be over, but I am still thinking about the sacrifice made for all of us on that old rugged cross and the hope that one can have by accepting Jesus as Lord and Savior. I've thought a lot about life throughout the past few weeks and how short our time on this Earth truly is. I still can't believe I'm now thirty-four. It seems as if I were celebrating my sixth birthday only yesterday. My heart immediately travels to those who are still living out their lives without Christ; those lost souls who are without help and without hope. I've heard and read stories about so many people who have made promises to get saved once their lives got better. Someday, they'd have it all figured out... Only that someday would never come. I think of the level of rejection that Christ experienced (something none of us could ever comprehend) and how much of it He still goes through today. He fe...
