A Love For All Seasons (Saturday Thoughts)

 

The love that Jesus has for you will never be dependent on what you are able to do for Him.

The deepness of His unconditional love was made perfectly known as He was dying on that cross. He gave His life for every imperfect soul. His strength was given for every bit of our weakness.

I have kept this thought on my heart recently, though throughout my life, I never really meditated on it before now. I just felt like today was the perfect moment to share.

How could Jesus love us so much that He would die for us?

I love to stay busy and I love to write for His glory. I love the blog & I feel so blessed that He has kept His hand on it for so many years now.

But I know sometimes it's easy to become too busy if we aren't careful, no matter what we're doing or where or how we are serving the Lord. We so often forget that it's never about us or our abilities, but rather it is ALWAYS about Jesus and the power of His wonderful mercy and grace. Our worth will always be found through trusting in Him.

Discouragement can settle in our hearts and minds if we never try to remember that. Life has its moments & the seasons are always changing.

God's love for you is something that will never ever change, and no matter what the days may bring, that love will continue carrying you through every season you face.

"But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." (Romans 5:8 KJV)

"Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest." (Joshua 1:9 KJV)

Things To Remember When You Feel Like Quitting On God

Having the opportunity to serve the Lord through writing faith-based short stories and devotionals will forever be my greatest joy.  I have traveled along on the writing journey for about ten years now, yet it would be untruthful to tell you that I've never felt like quitting.  I know I have.  Have you ever felt that way?
